I’ve been eating Activia for three days now and have had diarrhea for 3 days now. I’ve also suffered from the most horrendously smelly vapors one can imagine. I work in a hospital, and I’m worse off than most of the patients. I think I’ll throw the rest of that stuff away.

I had Activia for breakfast for the first time one morning and later that night,experienced very painful abdominal cramps, followed by a severe bout of diarrhea. The whole next day, my stomach felt queasy and gassy. I have not had any more Activia since, and my stomach and BM’s are starting to get back to normal. I still have 3 left…and they will remain uneaten.

I started using Dannon Activia regular about a year ago at the recommendation of a friend. It seemed to really help my digestion for awhile. Then I started getting constipation and diarrhea. My movements became irregular. I never had any cramps or stomach pain. I thought the issue was the sugar in the regular activia so I switched to Lite which has the artificial sugar. About 2 months after taking that, I started passing smelly gas…not fun. I cut out a lot of things in my diet. It took me awhile to figure out it may be the yogurt. I stopped taking it this past month and felt so much better. No more problems with smelly gas. No more Activia for me. I’m sticking to plain yogurt that is sugar free.

I called Dannon and spoke with a customer service respective and gave here clear detail of my symptoms and she acted as if I was here first call over the Activia Yogurt. My symptoms started two days after I started eating the crap with stomach pain back pain and floating Stools and diarrhea,sick filling all day and night symptoms stop after I stopped using it for two days and I start back to confirmed my suspension and I was correct Activia SUCKS!!!!! I spoke with My DR. He replied His staff has also had the same symptoms. He replied my blood work and last physical were great in May of 2010 it had to be the activia I hope this helps someone
